The Paintball Club
The Southern Flames Special Ops Paintball Team has been formed by Pukeora Paintball and the CHB Youth Trust to promote and develop the amateur sport of Paintball within Central Hawke’s Bay.
So if you have been bitten by the paintball bug, relief is at hand. Membership is ideal for the addicted player or groups who want to play the game regularly and benefit from discounts on paintballs and invites to social events, Off field activities and competitions.
As the club grows there will be regular big scenario games held.
In addition, each member receives:
- Free 24/7 field access and On-Field C02 refills (on club days)

- (2000) Premium Grade Paintballs @ club rates
- 10% discount on discounts on markers, paint and safety gear

BACKGROUND
Some things for you to take into consideration before you continue. Paintball is an incredibly fun sport; however it is not without risk of bodily injury. Players must follow the basic safety rules and use common sense. This sport is also not without cost. Playing paintball could sometimes be expensive. So you definitely have to consider the costs. Being a part of a team requires participation and dedication, both personally and financially. There are team fees and dues that must be paid by every member.
COMMITMENT
Although you don't have to attend every event, do understand that some participation is required. Sometimes games are from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Sometimes it is only one day. Sometimes we will hold practices or meetings Sometimes you will be required to undertake general grounds keeping, maintenance of structures, building new structures or referee at events. We do hope that you to show up to as many as possible, but we will understand when you can't.
SPECIAL OPS DAYS
Special Ops days are held on the last Sunday of each month. New members, visitor players and spectators are always welcome. Rental equipment is also available on the day. As the club grows we will develop regular monthly events for players that are interested in scenario/big games, also an enhance rec-ball experience. Only paintballs purchased from Pukeora Paintball are to be used on Special Ops & Public Rec-Ball days.
PUBLIC REC BALL
Public Rec-Ball days are a great opportunity to meet others who enjoy the sport of paintball and also give you the opportunity and affordability to play on a monthly (or less frequent) basis without having to organise a group of friends to secure a session booking.
SITREP’s
A regular TXT keeps our members informed of upcoming events, with a regular games as well as items of interest for our members. Members can look forward to at least one major club events per month plus Invites to social events, competitions and Public Rec-Ball days.
MEMBERSHIP

OTHER TEAM BENEFITS
Being a member of Pukeora Paintball has some additional benefits over just attending regularly as a public visitor. Regular notifications are sent out to team members of upcoming events, team member days. Team members are welcome to join other groups, unless fully booked, on other weekends and still only pay team prices. There are also opportunities to travel to the other Paintball venues to attend their monthly team days as well.
