ARRIVAL TIME – Players are asked to arrive at the Paintball Field at least 20 minutes early where you will be met by our friendly and experienced Safety Umpire. After signing in you will be provided with a mask and assigned to a team. This enables paperwork to be completed, goggles and equipment to be issued, along with a safety briefing, before play commences

ON THE DAY – On arrival everyone signs in and is issued with a safety mask. When everyone is kitted up the group will receive a detailed safety brief before being issued with their semi auto Paintball Gun and an initial magazine of 100 paintballs preloaded in your gun.

FALL IN - The group is then split into 2 teams and given coloured helmets. The Referee then escorts the group to the first playing field, conducts a gun demonstration and explains the rules of the game.

Games last for around 10 to 15 minutes with breaks in between to re-hydrate and laugh about the last battle! Play as many games as you want on any of our 9 playing fields. If you require extra paintballs you can get them on the field at any time where they are recorded on your dog tags.

When you have had enough for the day, its back to Head Quarters to return you equipment and hand in your Dog tags for payment. Feel free to unwind over a few drinks afterwards and relive past glories!

Each game scenario is a separate adventure – with so many varied scenarios and game zones
making each game as new and exciting as the last. For your safety and comfort, covered safety netted rest areas (safe zones) are located within the game areas.

CHOOSE YOUR BATTLE GROUND – Face the elements, destroy the enemy and create your stories on our WWI fields such as ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine, Shrapnel Valley, Chunuk Bair, the Apex, Snipers Nest and No Man’s Land.

The object of most games is to go out and capture the other team's flag whilst protecting your own. Some players may be in defence and some in attack. While you are trying to capture their flag, you are also trying to eliminate opposing players by tagging them with a paintball expelled from a paintball marker. When tagged you are not out. Tagged with a paintball a player calls "hit" raises their paintball gun above their head and moves back to their Base Bunker then resumes play!

GAME TIMES - Game times are generally booked for 1000 or 1400 hours. Participants need to arrive ¼ hour before their scheduled start time. Games usually have a time limit of 5 – 10 minutes but may range from 20 minutes to hours, depending on the size of the field and the number of players.

Between games, players take a break to check their equipment, reload paintballs and refresh themselves, while they recount the thrills of victory and the (usually funny) agonies of defeat. Win or lose, everyone has a good time, and there's always the next game awaiting you. You will never be out of action for long, so you can get the most out of your tour of duty with Pukeora Paintball.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING/WEAR? – Keep in mind that you will be in the outdoors for the entire day. Dress to protect yourself from the elements. We recommend that you wear loose fitting clothing (long sleeve sweatshirt and long pants). Sensible shoes are a must (you will be playing in the forest, hiking shoes or sneakers or boots with an all terrain tread are recommended).

Optional clothing such as bennies, baseball caps, scarves, bandanas and Cricket box’s (men), or Padded bras (women) can protect the more vulnerable areas of your body, so you may wish to bring them along. Expect to get mud and paint on your clothes (the paint comes out in the wash).

Other key items to consider: a change of clothing for the ride home, food, non-alcoholic thirst quenchers and cameras or video cameras are welcome to capture your day!

Understand that you will be shot during the day - If your ego is going to be hurt by someone else shooting you, stay home and play your XBOX, especially if a woman outdoing you is going to offend your manly pride!
